The police has paraded a twenty-year-old man, Babangida Isah for defiling a five-year-old girl.
The Police Relationship Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar explained that the suspect who is from Tike quarters in Bajoga Funakaye Local Government Area of Gombe State was reported to have lured the five-year-old girl behind an Almajiri school and forcefully raped her.
He said, “On receipt of the complaint, the suspect, Isah was arrested where he voluntarily confessed to the crime.
“Both the suspect and the victim were taken to the hospital for a medical examination; the case will soon be charged to court for prosecution.”
