The federal government has been commended sustaining the development of capacity in the freight forward industry. And it was coming on the heels of the ongoing crisis rocking one of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria.

National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders made the commendation in a message issued by the Chairman of the Association’s ethics, complaints and discipline, Chris Agba.

Mr. Agba said that through training and retraining, freight forwarders had kept their relevance in the shipping industry.

He said the role played by the CRFFN before it was engulfed by crisis has remained the life wire of sustainable development in the sector.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the five freight forwarding groups have been divided over collection of practitioners’ fees by the CRFFN.
