The Enugu State Police command has confirmed the death of 15 people in a ghastly motor accident that occurred today along the Enugu/Onitsha old road, in Oji River council area of Enugu State.
Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the deadly accident to newsmen this afternoon.
He disclosed that “the command has so far evacuated about 15 dead bodies,” adding that the tragedy occurred when the driver of a truck conveying cement lost control of the break.
The PPRO, added that the truck ran into a Siena Bus that was conveying people to different destinations.
He said the driver of the truck has been arrested, by the police, just as the command has begun full investigation into the ugly incident.
