Nigeria has recorded 120 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 59,465.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) disclosed this via it official tweeter handle on Monday.
The new cases were reported from 13 states including the Federal Capital Territory.
Data from the Health Agency website shows that Lagos which is the country’s epicenter of the virus recorded no case in the last 24 hours under review.
According to NCDC, of the new cases, 65 were recorded in Rivers, 12 in FCT, 9 in Ogun and 8 in Katsina.
Other states with new cases include, Anambra-7 Bauchi-5 Oyo-5 Nasarawa-3 Kaduna-2 Kwara-1 Taraba-1 Imo-1 Delta-1.
NCDC said till date, 59,465 cases have been confirmed, 50,951 treated and discharged and 1,113 deaths recorded in 36 states and the FCT.
