Resident Doctors have formally suspended their nationwide strike effective Monday but not without conditions.

President of the National Association of Resident Doctors, Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, announced this at a press briefing in Abuja.

He said doctors may resume the strike should government fail to keep to agreement contained in the memorandum of action.

The Association said it would review the level of adherence to the agreement in four weeks and take appropriate action.
