Current Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Iheoma Nnadi may have overcome the initial controversy over her real age as she begins to prepare for the Miss World pageant taking place later in the year.
The 19 year old emerged the winner of the coveted prize in July this year and went home with a car and N3m. The biggest of the prizes is an opportunity to represent the country at the Miss World pageant later in the year.
After Agbani Darego was crowned Miss World in 2001, no Nigerian and indeed African has touched the crown. So having the opportunity to compete at the apex of beauty pageantry in the world and a possibility of bringing back the crown would be prized higher than any item.
Just for the records, Ihuoma is the 6th Igbo daughter to be crown as the most beautiful girl in the country in the past ten years.
