The PDP governorship candidate in Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has presented the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu as his running mate for the general elections race to the public.
Dr. Ikpeazu made the official pronouncement during the inauguration of the PDP 2015 campaign committee held at the Women Development Center in Umuahia.
Governor Theodore Orji during the occasion, charged the committee to ensure they deliver all the candidates of the party as was the case in twenty eleven.
Leading the committee is immediate past chairman of the party, senator Emma Nwaka.
The governor urged them to re strategise and work harder in order to defeat the opposition with the so much boasting they have been making recently in the state.
He said more people will be included in the campaign committee to make it a more formidable group and assured those whose names were not listed in the initial line up to remain steadfast in the project.
He also solicited support for the governorship candidate, Dr. Ikpeazu and other candidates of the party.
In his response, senator Emma Nwaka on behalf of the committee pledged to work hard in the coming days to ensure that total victory is achieved at all levels.
