The National Information Centre has released a new intelligence report detailing deadly plans by insurgents to attack innocent voters during the forthcoming elections.
Speaking at a press briefing, the Coordinator, National Information Centre, Mike Omeri, said criminal elements plan to steal permanent voter cards from unsuspecting females and sell same to female suicide bombers.
He therefore warned female voters to guard their permanent voter cards jealously and be vigilant at the polling centres to avoid being victims.
On the recurrent hate speeches being made by aspirant supporters, the department of state services assured that the service will continue to ensure that defaulters are penalised.
