In a letter written to President Buhari, the Labour Union expressed concern over alleged neglect of the workers of the institutions who went on strike over six months ago
The letter signed by NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, accused the Medical Director of the Centre Dr. Angela Uwakwem of alleged corruption, noting that the Institution’s Management Board had earlier on directed the Medical Director and the Top Management to proceed on leave to pave way for a thorough investigation into the matter
While calling on President Buhari to stop alleged impunity in the medical institution, the NLC also accused the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Mr. Linus Awute of deliberately hiding facts on the crisis from the President
