The Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has distanced its Group Managing Director, Joseph T. Dawha from a running Facebook account opened in his name by some unknown scam artistes.
The NNPC in a statement by its group general manager, group public affairs division, Ohi Alegbe, said that the bogus Facebook account which bears a version of Dawha’s profile is designed to hoodwink unsuspecting users of Facebook into correspondence with a view to defrauding them.
The statement advised members of the public “to disregard any such account as the NNPC GMD has no Facebook account”.
