The Nigeria Police Force has indicated plans to withdraw all security aides attached to politicians during the elections.
The Inspector General of police Suleiman Abba who stated this in Abuja said if it has become necessary to allow security aides into election venues, they would not be allowed to wear their uniform
The action would be taken according to the IGP to maintain the force neutrality during the polls and discourage the use of policemen for partisan motives by top ranking government officials
