Less than 24hrs after President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign tour and party chieftains left the residence of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta. The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress Muhammad Buhari and his running mate Yemi Osinbajo accompanied by the national leader Bola Tinubu, John Odigie- Oyegun, Bisi Akande, Segun Oni and other party leaders.
The Presidential candidate lamented the decay in the Nigerian system which is hinged on the inability of the leadership to be firm in tackling corruption.
General Buhari while admitting that the spate of insecurity in the country is a failure of leadership pledged to make every part of the country secured for citizens if he becomes President by May this year.
In his reply, olusegun obasanjo says that despite party affiliations, the issue of Nigeria should be paramount in all their manifestoes.
He also commented on the sincerity of Mohammodu Buhari during his past administration as the Head of State and commended him as a man of character
