Abia state commissioner for Information and Strategy, Eze Chikamnayo has described the former governor, Orji Uzor Kalu as a harbinger of falsehood and lies aiming to mis inform innocent citizens about the present administration in the state under Chief Theodore Orji.

At a press conference jointly held by the commissioner, who was a commissioner for Information in Kalu’s time and two other former aides to ex governor Kalu, Chief Anthony Agbazuere and Chief Don Ubani, the trio noted with disgust how their former boss has allegedly degenerated.

According to Chief Eze, whereas the contemporaries of governor Orji Uzor Kalu in other states in the country have moved on with their lives and allowed peace to reign in their home states, he(Kalu) has converted himself into a nuisance championing campaign of calumny against the incumbent governor.

While addressing all the allegations by Chief Kalu published in his leadership series in the Sun newspaper, the commissioner, described them as mere imaginations in the brains of the writer, .

He challenged ex governor Kalu to name one structure he built in his eight year tenure as governor in the capital city of Umuahia and how a man who claims to be an Aba boy could not in his eight years as governor, fix the enyimba city.

He added that it is obvious that the towering achievements of governor Orji have begun to torment him, hence his bitterness, and swore to henceforth expose Kalu, saying it is no more fight between him and T.A Orji but with the entire state.

He also described Kalu as a dishonest man who deceived and betrayed the interest of the Igbos by 1998 and 1999 by sabotaging the ambition of Chief Alex Ekwueme.

On the part of chief Don Ubani, and Chief Anthony Agbazuere, there is no basis for comparison between the duo, as according to them, the fortunes of the state waned terribly during Kalu’s time and even the first three years of Orjis reign.

They also said that part of Kalu’s grievances is the fact that he the incumbent has accepted to hand over power to an Ukwa or Ngwa person as governor, a mission he considered impossible as well as the fact that he no longer has access to the fortunes of the state.

It would be recalled that Chief Orji Kalu’s leadership series has been devoted to the condemnation and negative criticism of the government of Chief Theodore Orji since the two fell apart.
