amago kugbo residents missing after oil spill fire,

Some residents of a rural community of Emago Kugbo in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers Stae are still missing, 2 days after a fire outbreak occurred at an oil facility belonging to Agip Oil Company in the community.
 
The Chairman, Caretaker Committee Abua/Odual Local Government area Onyekwoto Isaac Ukue confirmed that a census of dwellers at Emago Kugbo community showed that many people are still unaccounted for.
 
Mr. Ukue during a chat with newsmen in Port Harcourt denied insinuation that vandals were responsible for the incident and called for more assistant from the oil multinational Agip Company and the National Emergency Management Agency.

In the meantime the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Chris Ezike, has attributed the oil spill to vandalism.
