The was panic at Mafoluku in Oshodi Local Government Area of Lagos State after a family of seven and their guest were found dead this morning.
There was apprehension at 19 Olowora Street as the man, who has been identify as Kazeem an electrician and his wife, their four children and a pregnant guest were all discovered lifeless around 10 am on Wednesday.
Reports has it that the tragic incident happened in their one room apartment within the compound.
At the moment people are suspecting a likely food poisoning. Policemen at Makinde are said to have been notified and were at the residence to evacuate the bodies.
One of the neighbours of the victims, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, said they woke up in the early hours of today and found that the neighbours house was still under lock.
The source who does not want his name mentioned said, “We decided to force the main door open after we observed that the door have not been opened since morning.
Another source who hinted on the development said: “There is problem in Oshodi now. People are afraid as a family of seven and their pregnant guest were all found dead in their room. It happened at 19, Olowora Street, Mafoluku. People are suspecting food poisoning.”
The cause of the death is still unknown as their bodies are yet to be taking to hospital for proper investigation.
