27 students, abducted by bandits from Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State, have been released.
One of the parents who led the protest to National Assembly on Tuesday, Abdullahi Usman confirmed the development.
They were among the 37 students, abducted from the school almost two months ago. Ten of them were earlier released.
Their abductors had initially demanded a N500m ransom from the Kaduna State Government but Governor Nasir El-Rufai ruled out the option of negotiation.
It is not clear at the moment whether ransom was paid or not but parents have been making frantic efforts since the students were taken away from their school close to two months ago
