Indigent students in Obosi community now have reason to be hopeful as the Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka institutes a N10m Scholarship Fund for the Community.
This was part of the activities during this year’s Ofalla festival for the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Chidubem Iweka.
The event which took place at the Afo-Adike field also saw flamboyant recognition for the minister, who is a son of the community.
Osita Chidoka who holds the title “Ike Obosi” said he was worried that the community who was known for education has relented, with its children taking to nefarious acts.
The scholarship he said will help children who are interested in going to school and whose parents lack the wherewithal to train them to go to school.
