The Soludo Media Office has described as cheap blackmail, any attempt to link the APGA governorship candidate in the Anambra state governorship election to the recent arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.
A statement signed by Ejimofor Opara says the latest attempt at smearing the public goodwill of Prof. Charles Soludo with the allegation is a joke taken too far.
Mazi Opara recalled efforts made by Prof. Soludo and others in 2017, to secure the release of the leader if the now proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, which Nnamdi Kanu appreciated after he regained his freedom.
Prof Soludo during the press conference then said that “Nnamdi Kanu is not above the law, but should not be placed below it.” (Find the video below)
Mazi Opara urged the public to completely disregard the dirty job of maligning Prof Soludo in some circles.
“We call on the reading public and the hundreds of thousands of Soludo supporters to disregard the ill fated publication on Sahara Reporters.
“Of course we are not surprised and would expect more of such condescending propaganda from persons whose only strategy to winning the November 6 election is to malign Soiudo.
“Unfortunately for them Soludo is unshaken and resolved to marshal out his campaigns strictly on issues,” the statement said.
