The election into the National Executive of the Nigeria Labour Congress was on Thursday disrupted over alleged attempt by some delegates to rig the election in favour of one of those vying for the Presidency of the Congress.
This brought to an abrupt end a three day process leading to the election.
Delegates numbering over 3000 deserted the International Conference, venue of the 2015 Delegate Conference and ran for safety as ballot boxes and chairs were freely used as weapons of defence and attack
