The Police High Command has warned politicians against alleged hate speeches, revealing that investigation has commenced on alleged threats to cause crisis over unfavorable outcome of 2015 polls.
The Inspector General of Police, Suileman Abba issued this warning in Abuja on Monday while meeting with Deputy, Assistant Inspectors General of Police and State Commissioners of Police
The Police Boss said the meeting was convened to brainstorm on security challenges and take far-reaching decisions to provide security for men and materials during conduct of the elections
He stated that all zonal and state commands of the force have been mobilized with the needed Logistics to provide security for INEC officials and the electorate during conduct of the polls
