The Police Service Commission has approved the promotion of 233 senior Police Officers.
Statement signed by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Public Relations of the commission stated that the commission hinted that the promotion of the Officers was one of the decisions of the 9th Meeting of the Commission held recently in Abuja.
The statement hinted that 55 of the Officers were promoted from the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police to the next rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police. 177 promoted from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police to that of Assistant Commissioner of Police. And 1 Assistant Superintendent of Police promoted to a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
