The National Working Committee of the All Progress Congress, APC has rejected the outcome of the National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the party.
The Hilliard Eta led factional NWC, reiterated its earlier position that Chief Victor Giadom, has no authority to convene a National Executive Committee meeting.
In statement on Thursday, the NWC hinged their argument on article 25(B) of the APC constitution which states that only the National Chairman or the National Working Committee is given the prerogative to covey a NEC meeting.
Recalled that the Chief Victor Giadom led National Working Committee of the Party earlier today made some important decision after the virtual meeting which was attended by President Buhari, VP Osinbajo and some state governors.
The NWC was dissolved and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, was appointed as Caretaker Committee chairman of the APC.
