Professor Chukwuma Soludo has been declared the winner of the governorship election in Anambra state.
The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria polled a total of 112,229 votes to defeat the closest rival, of the PDP, Valentine Ozoigbo who garnered 53,817 votes
Senator Andy Ubah of the APC came third with 43,285 votes.
The state returning officer, Professor Florence Obi, after receiving the result from the last of the 21 local government area about 12.20am on Wednesday, went ahead to announce the results.
A supplementary election was conducted on Tuesday in Ihiala Local Government Area where election did not hold on Saturday.
2.6m persons registered to vote in the state but 253,388 turned up for the polls.
