Forty eight hours to the Presidential Polls, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,  President Goodluck Jonathan and his  All Progressives  Congress challenger, General Muhammad Buhari on Thursday again pledged to ensure violence free Polls. 

Both candidates signed an agreement which is a follow up to the famous Abuja Accord signed by both personalities and other parties on January fourteenth 2015.

Today’s agreement is at the instance of the National Committee on Peaceful elections led by former Head of State Abdulsalam Abubakar.

Witnessing the singing ceremony were the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Sa’ad the third and Reverend Matthew Kukah.

Present also were the National Chairmen of the PDP and APC, Adamu Muazu and John Oyegun.
