Nigeria has promised the international community that it will make conscious efforts to reduce the inequalities within its border just as it will join hands to fight incidences of disparity around the world
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made the promises on Friday as he spoke on behalf of President Muhammdu Buhari at the first official function of the new administration at State House, Abuja
Straight from the inauguration President Buhari came to State House where he was received in front of what will be his office for the next four years by his Vice, Professor Osinbajo
That was a State Lunch for visiting dignitaries and members of the diplomatic community as well as of course those that have supported the new governing party the All Progressives Congress to this point
The President and his Vice President jointly played host to these visiting Heads of State and government
But when it came to speeches the President delegated his Vice President so that he can meet up a prior appointment at the National Mosque
This is an opportunity for the new government to assure the international community that their support will be reciprocated
From this point all eyes will be on the new President and his Vice, that have been swept into government to see if they will walk the talk and bring about the needed change in Nigeria
