Stories making the rounds around the presidency suggests that President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a retired army Colonel, Hameed Ibrahim Ali as his Chief of Staff.
The former military administrator of Kaduna State is a close ally of the President. And has served as the Secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum.
Colonel Ali who hails from Kano State had served as the President’s chief of staff during the preparations for the elections.
The President is said to be impressed with Colonel Ali due to his antecedents and modest lifestyle
If this is confirmed, the appointment may be the beginning of the long awaited naming of the President’s aides
