Some unknown hoodlums have burnt down the house of member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Paschal Agbodike in Ubahi-Mbosi in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The attackers invaded the house on Tuesday around 1 am, released some gun shots before setting the house ablaze.

Confirming the incident to Journalists on Tuesday, Agbodike who was the former deputy speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, said he was informed of the incident through phone call also confirmed no life was lost although the house was completely razed down.

The state police spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident and said;

“The area has been condoned and security operatives have been deployed in the area. There are ongoing surveillance efforts by the operatives.”
