The United Nations has condemned the attacked on three humanitarian aid facilities in Damasak, Borno state carried out by members of Boko Haram Insurgents.
A statement by the Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Edward Kallon, said the group launched an attack on Saturday night through Sunday morning.
The attackers also set ablaze the humanitarian facilities.
According to the statement, humanitarian operations in Damasak will be turned down and this will affect their support for the vulnerable.
About 8,800 internally displaced persons and 76,000 people living in host communities benefit from assistance from the agency.
It cautioned that civilians and aid workers, their facilities and assets should not be target during conflict situations.
