A video has emerged revealing suspected bandits parading their victims in an unidentified location suspected to be a forest in Kaduna state.

It is not clear where the victims were taken from but the Abuja Kaduna expressway has been a hotbed of kidnap incidents in the last one week.

At the last count, not less than fifty persons have been taken by bandits in about three major kidnap incidents.

In the video, the gunmen who are seen putting on military camouflage and uniforms made their abductors call on the government to come to their rescue and also reopen telecoms services.

They were denouncing having any issues with their Fulani neighbours and that they never had attended any meeting where discussion on how to deal with Fulani people was discussed.

The gunmen in the video are also seen showing off their fire power by shooting sporadically in the air.

Minutes after the video was released, Kaduna state Government announced the immediate restoration of telecoms services.

Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, made this known while addressing pressmen on Friday.

The commissioner says other measures are still in place including the ban on motorcycles, transportation of livestock in and out of the state, shutdown of rural markets amongst others.
