Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, has been released on bail by the Police on Tuesday night.
His counsel, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria confirmed the development to The Punch
The artiste was arrested on Monday, the 15th of May, after he was seen in a trending video assaulting a police officer.
The incident took place the Saturday before on the 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos had earlier granted the musician bail while ordering the police to conclude their investigation in 48 hours and free Mr. Kuti thereafter.
