Government Offices in the federal capital have been directed to observe half day of work on Tuesday.
Workers are expected to leave their posts at 1pm so they can join football fans at the Moshood Abiola stadium to support the Super Eagles as they host the Black stars of Ghana.
The make or mar encounter will determine which of the West African brothers that will be at the World Cup, later this year.
The first leg ended 0-0 in Kumasi, Ghana on Friday last week.
A circular signed by the Permanent Secretary, Services Welfare Office, Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, on behalf of the Head of Service of the Federation, said that because of the need to mobilise support for the Nigerian team, all offices must close at 1pm.
It urged all the Permanent Secretaries to give the memo maximum publicity.
In the meantime, the Black Stars have arrived Abuja for the match which will be played at 6pm
