The 36 state governors in the country are to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari  over the current  dwindling revenue to states.

Rising from its meeting in Abuja, the governors say they were worried about the inability of some states to pay workers’ salaries in the last couple of months.

The meeting is aimed at requesting a bail out for these states to enable them fulfill their obligation to the workers.

The governors also sympathised with the people and governments of states affected by the insurgency in the North East.

Meanwhile, the military on Wednesday said installation of hi-tech equipment needed for the counter terrorism operations of the Military Command and Control Centre has begun in Maiduguri.

According to a statement by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, the Centre will commence full operations in Maiduguri in 21 days to allow for the completion of installations and movement of personnel.
