International recording artist Innocent Tuface Idibia has been adjudged the most liked Nigerian Musician.
In a snap poll conducted by the NOIPOLLS, Tuface came tops with a 13% fan base followed by Davido’
with 7%, gospel artiste ‘Frank Edwards’ at 6% and ‘Wizkid’ at 5%.
The snap polls which also assessed the trends in the Nigerian music industry revealed that 80% of adult Nigerians have the culture of listening to the Nigerian music, irrespective of age and geo-political zones.
Although Nigerian music has evolved over time, the culture of Nigerian music listenership has been greatly preserved given the fact that the younger generation aged 18 to 21 years have the highest listenership, at 83%, to Nigerian music.

Tuface Idibia broke into limelight with his top song African Queen after he left the pop group Plantation Boys. His profile gradually rose from a domestic artiste to an international star. In the past decade, Tuface who is now married to one of his “baby mamas” Ann, has won several international award including Channel O, MTV base and KORA.
