The United States of America on Thursday condemned Boko Haram’s latest attacks on Borno State.
More than forty people died in separate attacks on Monday and Tuesday.
In a statement, the US embassy in Abuja also condemned the continued and widespread violence inflicted by Boko Haram on innocent men, women, and children in Nigeria.
It also added those responsible must be held accountable.
The US also commended the efforts by the Nigerian military, as well as the militaries of Chad, Niger, and Cameroon for the gains they have made fighting Boko Haram.
