Planned visit of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to Yola, capital of Adamawa State on Wednesday was interrupted by a heavy down pour.
The state governor, Umaru Bindow and other government functionaries waited at the Yola airport for the Vice President who was billed to inspect some Internally Displaced Persons camp and other official assignments.
The rain, HOMELAND NEWS gathered, began at the time Prof Osinbajo was expected to arrive.
Meanwhile, suicide bombers blew themselves up near a hospital in Molai, Borno State, soon after Prof. Osinbajo left after visiting some victims of book haram attacks.
The Vice President on his twitter page wrote:
“Today @MBuhari requested that I convey FG’s sympathies to our displaced brothers & sisters in Borno & Adamawa Plight of many of our own like little Aisha Ibrahim reinforces our resolve to stamp out the scourge of terrorism.
