President Goodluck Jonathan has asked Nigerian women to vote him for another four years for liberation or risk been imprisoned into the kitchen by the opposition.

The President who noted that for the development of the country women must participate actively also said that any human population that fails to annex it’s women will not develop.

He stated this at the Ibadan presidential rally of the Peoples Democratic party held at the Mapo Hall in front of thousands ‎of PDP supporters.

Apparently reacting to the opposition who promised abolition of the offices of first ladies, President Jonathan noted that the offices of first ladies held galvanise women who run NGOS and making women use their cognitive abilities for development.

While stating that over 1million people have benefited from Agriculture intervention fund of the federal government in the zone, President Jonathan said the agric transformation of his government has made Nigeria the biggest producer of cassava.

He listed Lagos-Ibadan expressway, power projects, Ibadan Airport renovation, Ibadan-Lagos-Kano, among other empowerment projects cited in Oyo state.

President Jonathan who described those who fought under the National Democratic Coalition (NaDECO) but now supporting General Muhammed Buhari as hypocrites of what the movement stood for in terms of respect for human rights.

‎He said Ibadan Airport may be upgraded to an International status as a request made by the Olubadan but pleaded with the people of the state to wait for the completion of the present rehabilitation.

‎The rally which witnessed presentation of flags also featured solidarity speeches from Ondo state Governor Olusegun Mimiko who said the southwest belonged to the PDP urged Nigerians not to vote for a president that cannot boot computer adding that “the 21st century requires a president that his young, computer compliant and current. “

Minister of state for FCT, Jumoke Akinjide also solicited the v otes of Oyo State for the PDP on account of what she called unequal achievements of the president urging Nigeria to make his reflection a Valentine gift.

Speaker at the rally also included, Senator Teslim Folarin, Lekan Balogun, Adamu Muazu, Mulikat Akande among others
