Wife of former Speaker and Acting governor of Bayelsa state, Martha Nestor Binabor have been kidnapped.
HOMELAND NEWS gathered that the 48-year-old Martha was abducted on Monday night at Agbura community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state by 5 gunmen dressed in military camouflage uniforms.
The Bayelsa State Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butwats who confirmed the incident says the gunmen forced her into an ash coloured Toyota Camry Car, and drove to Otuokpoti Sand Dump in Ogbia Local government area and set the Car ablaze before taking their victim into a waiting speedboat and sped off to an unknown destination.
The police spokesman says, its Marine division, the JTF, Anti-Kidnapping unit has been alerted and a massive manhunt has been launched to rescue the victim and arrest the abductors.
