Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications‎ and New Media, Lere Olayinka has told the factional Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dr Adewale Omirin and his All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers to desist from what he termed “their voyage of‎ self-destruction”.

The governor’s aide, who called on security agencies in the country and all Nigerians to be mindful of this plot by the APC, noted “between 2008 and 2010, APC used organised armed robbery and kidnapping to discredit the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
government of the then governor, Segun Oni.”
The governor’s aide wondered why using the Facebook to inform the public on the sinister movements and plots of the APC lawmakers should amount to threat to kidnap them.
He said; “Omirin and his co-jesters should rather seek forgiveness from God and Ekiti people who now see them as enemies of the State saying the APC legislators have reached a confused end.
